"in your anger do not sin;
when you are on your beds, search your hearts and be silent."
psalm 4:4
my daughter,
have you ever seen a chemical plant pumping noxious gases into the atmosphere? the unfortunate result is that the atmosphere is polluted and people can't breathe poison.
anger is like that. it can pollute the atmosphere when you let it explode. there's nothing wrong with feeling angry, but a venomous outburst can do damage.
what do i suggest? wait silently, think and pray about what you're feeling and why. many times what really lies beneath anger is a secret stash of hurt feelings. once you understand your anger, ask me to help you approach the one one who has hurt or angered you. i'll give you words of reason and reconciliation.
the ultimate peacemaker,
God
